This policy explains what Swoonia ("Swoonia", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account info you provide: name, date of birth, gender, photos, bio, and preferences.
  • Content you create: messages, voice/video prompts, and quiz answers.
  • Approximate location to show nearby people — we never share your exact coordinates with other users.
  • Usage, device, and log data to operate and secure the service.
  • Payment info is processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

  • To provide matching, discovery, chat, voice/video, and events.
  • To keep Swoonia safe and enforce our guidelines.
  • To process subscriptions and prevent fraud.
  • To analyze and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us operate (hosting, payments, real-time media, analytics) under contracts that protect it. We may disclose information to comply with law or protect people from harm. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention & security

We keep information while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after deletion, except where we must retain it legally. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no system is 100% secure.

6. International transfers

We may process data in countries other than yours, using appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
